Short answer. A Flotick project is the container for tasks, sprints, members, and files. It can optionally store a client. The client link is not required to plan work.
What a project tracks
A project has a name, description, lead, visibility, start date, and target date. Health is On Track, At Risk, Off Track, or Unknown. The lifecycle is Planning, Active, Review, and Completed. Free includes 3 active projects, Pro includes 15, and Max does not cap active projects.
The client link
New Project can start from a client, or you can pick a client on the form. You can also leave it blank. Later, the project's Client tab can link, move, or clear the client. If the client is in the trash, project responses omit that client until it is restored.
Who should use projects without a CRM
Internal work, a product sprint, or a studio that is not ready to invite clients can stay on projects and tasks alone. The CRM fields do not block that.
