Question 1

What is Flotick?

Accepted Answer

Flotick is one system of record for your team's projects, people, and deadlines. Instead of status living in a project board, a spreadsheet, and a chat thread, everything stays in one place so work ships on time, ownership is always clear, and leaders see problems before they become missed deliveries.

Question 2

How is Flotick different from Asana or replacement tools?

Accepted Answer

Task-only tools tell you what is being done; they can't tell you who is actually available to do it. Flotick joins work (tasks, sprints) with people (attendance, leave, roles) in one system so you stop assigning deadlines to someone who's on leave, and stop paying for a separate HR tool to find that out.

Question 3

Is Flotick free to use?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Free plan is genuinely usable for a small team, forever tasks, sprints, Kanban, attendance check-in and leave requests included. Upgrade to Pro or Max only when the value is obvious: team-wide reporting, the full HR suite, and higher limits.

Question 4

How do I create a Flotick account?

Accepted Answer

Visit the sign-up page and enter your email or use single sign-on (Google). Once inside, you can create a "Workspace" for your organization and immediately invite team members to join.

Question 5

Does Flotick support Agile and Sprints?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Flotick allows you to organize work into timed Sprints or Cycles. You can track velocity, manage backlogs, and view sprint progress without the complexity of enterprise-heavy agile tools.

Question 6

How does attendance tracking work in Flotick?

Accepted Answer

Team members can check in/out directly from their dashboard. Managers get a real-time view of who is online (Office vs. Remote) and can pull attendance reports for capacity planning—all without leaving the work platform.

Question 7

How do I create tasks in Flotick?

Accepted Answer

Navigate to a Project and click "New Task". You can assign details like Priority, Due Date, and Assignee. Tasks can be viewed in Lists, Kanban Boards, or Calendars depending on your workflow preference.

Question 8

Can I integrate Flotick with other tools?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Flotick supports integrations with development tools (GitHub/GitLab) and communication platforms (Slack). You can also use our API to build custom workflows for your specific team needs.

Question 9

Does Flotick have a mobile app?

Accepted Answer

Flotick is fully responsive for mobile browsers, allowing you to track tasks and check in for attendance on the go. Native mobile apps for iOS and Android are on our roadmap.

Question 10

How much does Flotick cost?

Accepted Answer

Flotick is priced per organization, not per seat adding people never raises your bill. Free covers teams of up to 5 forever; Pro and Max are flat monthly prices for the whole organization, with two months free on annual billing. See the pricing page for current rates in USD and INR.

Question 11

What's included in the Flotick free plan?

Accepted Answer

The Free plan allows for unlimited tasks, up to 3 active projects, and attendance tracking for up to 10 members. It is designed to let startups run their entire operation without cost barriers.

Question 12

Can I upgrade my Flotick plan anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can upgrade from Free to Pro or Enterprise at any time from your Billing settings. Changes are immediate, and prorated charges will apply for the remainder of the billing cycle.

Question 13

Do you offer discounts for nonprofits?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we support nonprofits and educational institutions with special discounted pricing. Contact our sales team with your organization details to apply.

Question 14

Is Flotick secure?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for data in transit and at rest. Our infrastructure is hosted on secure professional cloud providers with regular backups and security audits.

Question 15

Where is my Flotick data stored?

Accepted Answer

Data is stored in secure data centers with redundancy and failover protection. We prioritize data privacy and do not sell user data to third parties.

Question 16

Can I export my data from Flotick?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You retain full ownership of your data. You can export tasks, projects, and attendance logs to CSV or JSON formats at any time for backup or analysis.

Question 17

How many team members can I invite?

Accepted Answer

The Free plan covers teams of up to 5, Pro up to 25, and Max is unlimited. Because pricing is per organization rather than per seat, inviting more people within your plan never changes what you pay.

Question 18

Can I set different permissions for team members?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Flotick uses role-based access control (RBAC). You can assign roles like Admin, Manager, Member, or Viewer to control what users can see and do within your workspace.

Question 19

How do notifications work?

Accepted Answer

You can customize notifications for task updates, mentions, and due dates. Alerts can be delivered via email, in-app notification center, or Slack.

Question 20

Is Flotick a good alternative to Asana?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Flotick is one of the best Asana alternatives for growing teams (5-50) because it combines task and sprint management with native attendance and leave. Where Asana stops at tasks, Flotick gives you one organization-first workspace for both work and people - so you do not need a separate HRIS.

Question 21

How does Flotick compare to Jira?

Accepted Answer

Flotick is lighter, faster to onboard, and includes built-in people management (attendance and leave). Jira is engineering-focused and configuration-heavy; Flotick is purpose-built for cross-functional growing teams that want sprint planning without Jira complexity.

Question 22

Is Flotick a Monday.com alternative?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Flotick is a strong Monday.com alternative for teams of 5-50: one flat price per organization instead of per-seat billing that grows with every hire, native attendance and leave so you skip the separate HR tool, and an opinionated workflow that is productive in an afternoon instead of a consulting engagement.

Question 23

Flotick vs ClickUp - which is better?

Accepted Answer

ClickUp is highly configurable and can sprawl. Flotick is opinionated and unified, with attendance, leave, and people management built in. For growing teams that want clarity over endless customization, Flotick is faster to adopt and maintain.

Question 24

Flotick vs Notion or Trello - which should I choose?

Accepted Answer

Notion and Trello work for very small teams or knowledge management, but they lack sprint planning, attendance, leave, and structured workflows. Flotick is purpose-built for growing teams that need execution tracking, real-time collaboration, and people management together.

Question 25

What kind of work management platform is Flotick?

Accepted Answer

Flotick is a single system of record where startups, agencies, and SaaS teams of 5-50 run projects, sprints, attendance, leave, and analytics together. The outcome: work ships on time, ownership stays clear, and leaders see risk early instead of after the deadline. It is sometimes spelled "Flotik".

Question 26

Who is Flotick built for?

Accepted Answer

Flotick is built for growing teams of 5 to 50 people - typically startups, digital agencies, consultancies, and SaaS companies - who have outgrown a basic to-do list but do not want the complexity and cost of enterprise tools like Jira or Workday. It is the right fit when you need both work execution and people management in one place.

Question 27

What does "unified work management" mean in Flotick?

Accepted Answer

Unified work management means tasks, sprints, attendance, leave, files, and analytics live in the same organization-scoped workspace - sharing identity, permissions, and real-time updates. You stop bouncing between Asana, BambooHR, Slack, and Google Sheets to answer one question.

Question 28

Does Flotick support real-time collaboration?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Flotick uses Socket.io for real-time updates: live task changes, presence indicators, instant comments, and dashboard refreshes. MongoDB change streams optionally feed real-time events when enabled.

Question 29

Does Flotick offer AI features?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Flotick includes AI-powered summaries via Google Gemini for sprints, projects, and inbox digests. AI features are plan-gated - available on Pro and Max plans.

Question 30

Is Flotick GDPR-compliant and privacy-friendly?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Flotick is multi-tenant with strict organization-scoped data isolation, supports payload and Redis encryption, account lockout, Arcjet bot protection, and a fail-closed security mode. You retain ownership of your data and can export it at any time.

Question 31

Does Flotick have an API?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Flotick exposes a REST API under /api/v1 and a GraphQL analytics API at /graphql. You can build custom integrations, automations, or reporting on top of your workspace data.

Question 32

Can Flotick replace Asana, BambooHR, and Jira at the same time?

Accepted Answer

For teams of 5-50, yes. Flotick replaces a typical "Asana + BambooHR + Jira + spreadsheets" stack with a single workspace covering tasks, sprints, attendance, leave, and analytics - reducing tool sprawl and per-seat cost.

Question 33

How long does it take to set up Flotick?

Accepted Answer

Most teams are running their first sprint within 15-30 minutes. Sign up with Google SSO or email, create your organization workspace, invite teammates, and start a project. Custom workflow states (Pro/Max) add another few minutes to configure.

Question 34

Is Flotick the same as "Flotik"?

Accepted Answer

Yes. "Flotik" is a common misspelling of "Flotick". The official product name is Flotick - the system growing teams use to deliver work on time from one place.
